Hello again. Who has not ever felt sad? It is an emotion, like all, that is useful and necessary. And when we feel sad we must feel it. See what is causing it and process it. A definition of sadness would be that of a kind of emotional pain or affective state caused by a spiritual decline, loss, … and often expressed through crying, a downcast face, etc. We often feel sad when our expectations are not met or when life’s circumstances are more painful than happy. and what is it for you? Sadness allows you to “disconnect” from the environment and focus on yourself and recover from an injury or loss. And although it is great to feel happy (and I do workshops on happiness) it is not always positive to feel happy or deny sadness when you feel it. When you feel sad, stand up, sit it down, see if it is proportionate (it is not the same to be very sad because a bus has escaped you than in the face of the loss of a loved one for example), elaborate the duel, restructure the new situation and leave ahead. If you see that you can’t just ask for help. In the next post I will tell a story about sadness. I hope you like it. And if you have any comments or questions, do not hesitate to write to me here or by email mariarivescoach@gmail.com, happy to read you!
