Post 106 emotional well-being Emotional competence: self-motivation
Hello again: in this new series of posts I am commenting on what emotional competence is and its parts. I have discussed two of its 5 parts, self-awareness and self-regulation, and today I will talk about self-motivation, which is using your emotions to your advantage, to achieve positive changes in your life and your goals. To do this you have to get the basic skills to motivate yourself, using the emotions, and the resources you have as allies to reach your goal. And it is good to develop perseverance, but also to give yourself permission at times, to stop, the self-confidence that you can achieve it, and the self-knowledge of your emotions to use them to your advantage. When I finish explaining the 5 pillars, I will explain in more detail. But in the meantime, if you have any questions, or want to tell me something, do not hesitate to comment here or through my email mariarivescoach@gmail.com I am delighted to accompany you on your emotional journey to your well-being!
