To do this, we will first talk about the primary and secondary emotions PRIMARY EMOTIONS The primary emotions are those that feel first. The emotions that with most often considered primary are: fear, sadness, surprise and happiness. An example of a primary emotional response is the fear a person feels when he faces a situation where he is surprised or threatened. The answer Primary sadness is often felt when a person receives news of a death or other tragic event. These initial responses cannot be control. They are evolutionary and everyone feels them regardless of their cultural experience Frequently, after a brief burst of primary emotion, feelings change, soften or evolve into something else. SECONDARY EMOTIONS Secondary emotions are feelings that develop from initial or primary emotions or are combined with these. There is an extensive list of secondary emotions. Some of them are: anger, frustration, disappointment, humor, satisfaction or joy. Primary emotions can also be secondary emotions.
